With its unspoiled beaches and amazing (wide views of nature scenes/wide areas of beautiful land), Gokarna is a Hindu holy trip town in Karnataka and a newly found hub for beach loversand hippies.
Located on the coast of Karwar, Gokarna is a small town in Karnataka, mostly known for tworeasons – its beaches and temples. Gokarna can be different things to different people. Everyyear groups of tourists visit Gokarna in search of holiness and (saving or protecting someone from sin or harm) on one hand and (a) break and relaxation on the other. The out-of-townbeaches are a curious contrast to the life inside the town. Palm covered beaches are dotted withforeign tourists in a majority and very few Indians are seen across. Gokarna is not very ordinarilytouristy. The beaches are meant for a slow, relaxed holiday and everything on the beach goes atthe same relaxed pace. Full of coconut and palm trees, the ocean and clean sands, Gokarna is a’one of its kind place’ in the country
