Lyngby Open-Air Museum (Frilandsmuseet)

Just over 15 kilometers outside Copenhagen, you’ll find Lyngby Open-Air Museum, part of theDanish National Museum, and a must-see for many visitors to Denmark. Occupying 35 hectares, there are real farmhouses, farming-based buildings, houses, and mills from across the country inthis “living museum.” There are also very old breeds of domestic animals, beautiful historicgardens to wander through, (related to the air outside) old houses from Schleswig-Holstein andSweden, as well as many picnic places/locations. You can even take a horse-drawn (vehicle with wheels/body posture/carrying something) around the grounds
