“KaroTrip” is a brand name and online travel facilitation platform owned and operated by Selten Smart Solutions Private Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of India, having its registered office at 513, 5th Floor, Palm Spring, Malad West, Mumbai – 400064.

For the purposes of these terms, references to “KaroTrip”, “we”, “us”, or “our” shall mean and include the Company operating the KaroTrip platform.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the KaroTrip Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.

1. About KaroTrip

KaroTrip is an online intermediary facilitating search, comparison, and booking of travel services offered by Third-Party Providers. KaroTrip does not own or operate the underlying travel services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding contracts.

3. User Account

Where account creation is required, you agree to provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and be responsible for all activities under your account. KaroTrip may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or breach of these Terms.

4. Bookings

All bookings are subject to availability and the terms/policies of Third-Party Providers. A booking is confirmed only upon provider confirmation and successful payment processing. KaroTrip is not responsible for provider-side errors, cancellations, delays, denial of boarding/check-in, or service disruptions.

5. Pricing, Payments, Refunds

Prices are dynamic and may change until confirmation. Payment processing is via third-party gateways. Cancellations, refunds, and modifications are governed by Third-Party Provider policies.

6. User Responsibilities & Prohibited Conduct

You must provide correct traveller details and ensure compliance with passport, visa, immigration, and health requirements. You must not misuse the Platform, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malware, commit fraud, or copy/redistribute Platform content unlawfully.

7. Intellectual Property

All Platform intellectual property belongs to KaroTrip or its licensors. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

8. Fraud, Unauthorized Access & Impersonation

KaroTrip shall not be liable for losses arising from phishing, spoofed domains/apps, impersonation, or unauthorised account access due to user negligence or transactions undertaken outside authorised Platform flows.

Users must verify communications and must not share passwords, OTPs, or payment credentials with anyone claiming to be KaroTrip via unofficial channels.

9. Third-Party Links

External links may be provided for convenience. KaroTrip does not control or endorse third-party sites. Use is at your own risk.

10. No Warranties

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. KaroTrip disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KaroTrip shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, loss of bookings, or provider-side failures.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold KaroTrip harmless from claims arising from misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or disputes with Third-Party Providers.

13. Modifications & Termination

KaroTrip may modify, suspend, or discontinue Platform features at any time and may restrict access for breach or suspected fraud.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

15. Consumer Grievance Redressal (E-Commerce)

KaroTrip maintains a consumer grievance redressal mechanism and appoints a Grievance Officer. The officer shall acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 1 month in accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
